Freshman

Imitation of skills is a very important skill in learning, thus far our freshmen have used that in learning writing, typing and even reading. Students continue reading comprehension development with more advanced reading material and increase their vocabulary. They also begin applying comprehension skills to authentic tasks such as putting an item together based on a manual, understanding the pros and cons of products and making decision as to which product suits their needs. They continue to practice mathematical problem solving and reasoning skills.
